What should my child wear?

Please send your child in practical, washable clothing that is easy for them to deal with e.g. elasticated-waist trousers. Many of the activities are messy - water, paint etc. Aprons are available but clothes can still get stained.
Outdoor play, including experiencing all weather conditions, is very important for children.

Please name coats, cardigans and jackets.

What footwear is advisable?

Young feet are vulnerable, so sturdy shoes are advised. Soft shoes, open-toed sandals and wellington boots are unsuitable for our equipment. Please name your child's shoes.

Can my child wear jewellery?

Wearing jewellery is strongly discouraged; if it gets lost, children may become upset. It can be dangerous during play and Centre staff cannot accept responsibility. We advise that if your child has pierced ears, studs are worn.

Can my child bring his/her own toys?

We advise that personal belongings are not brought in as items can get lost and cause distress. If your child needs a comfort object, please discuss this with your Keyworker.

Should I bring spare clothes?

No, this is not necessary. We have lots of spare clothes if your child needs to use them.
