What should my child wear?
Please send your child in practical, washable clothing. Many of the activities are messy - water, paint etc. Aprons are available but clothes can still get stained.
Can my child wear jewellery?
Wearing jewellery is strongly discouraged; if it gets lost, children may become upset. It can be dangerous during play and Centre staff cannot accept responsibility. We advise that if your child has pierced ears, studs are worn.
Sun Safety
When it is hot and sunny, please bring a sunhat for your child to wear outdoors and apply sunscreen before leaving them. Staff will apply Soltan factor 40 on all full time children at lunch time or as necessary. We will provide the cream and only children with allergies would need to have their own cream provided. If your child stays all day on any day, please sign the consent form. We will not apply cream to any child without this consent. If your child attends part time, reponsibility for applying sunscreen remains with you.
Can my child bring his/her own toys?
We advise that personal belongings are not brought in as items can get lost and cause distress. A snuggle or comfort for sleep time may be brought in.
