How am I kept informed about events and changes at the Centre?
You will receive regular newsletters throughout the Centre year. You will also find notices up in the corridors and on the outside notice board. There is a message board by the entrance door to Pastures, please spend a few minutes each day to check them.
Can my child stay for additional sessions?
Yes, if there is availability. Please fill in an additional session form and leave with a member of the Pastures team. Unfortunately, we are unable to swap allocated sessions on an ad-hoc basis as this is a facility that would not be available to all parents.
Can I change my child's sessions permanently once registered?
Yes, subject to availability and with a month's notice.
How successful is the Centre?
Centre staff are continuously updating their practice, having access to local and national research, training and support.
The Centre was inspected in July 2007 and this inspection rated all aspects of the provision as outstanding.
The full inspection report is available for parents to read in reception together with all policies and curriculum details. The inspection report can also be downloaded from the OfSTED website at http://www.ofsted.gov.uk. Please ask a member of staff if you would like to see a paper copy and/or Centre policies and practice.
Parents wishing to discuss any aspects of the Centre's practice are very welcome to speak to Gill Allen, the Head of Centre, who will be happy to answer any questions.
I am interested to see my child during a session. How can I arrange this?
The Centre considers it very important to maintain close links with parents. We welcome parents wishing to spend time in the Pastures. Stay and Play sessions are available. Please speak to your child's Keyworker for information.
